Paul G. LAMARRE

LAKE LINDEN - Paul G. LaMarre, 55, of Lake Linden, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 1, 2005. He as born March 27, 1950, a son of Gerard and Margaret (Mills) LaMarre. He attended St. Joseph's School in Lake Linden through the eighth grade and graduated from the JFK Seminary School. He received a bachelor's degree from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn., and a master's degree from MTU in computer science. He was employed by the White Pine Mine in his college years. He taught high school math for two years in Puerto Rico. He then worked for Chevron in California for 12 years before returning to the Copper Country to work as a computer systems analyst.He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Gerard; a niece, Mary; and a nephew, Benjamin.He is survived by his mother, Margaret "Peggy" M. Rheault; two sisters, Michelle (Andrew) Haapala of Spring Creek Nev. and Katherine (John) Cummings of Lake Ann, Mich.; nieces and nephews, David, Kristopher, Andrea, Melinda, Carrie, Brian, Billy, Amber, Alex, Jennifer, Antonio, Danny, Nicholas, Brittany, Kenny and Noah; grandnieces and nephews, Melissa, Samantha, David, Alec, Kyle, Cody and Steven, along with many other relatives and friends.At the request of the deceased, he will be cremated. There will be no public visitation.The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
