AGAWAM - Anna O. Lamoureux died Friday, December 16th at the Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Holyoke, March 23, 1915 to the late Frederick and Ora (Cartier) Lamoureux. Anna retired as a credit manager from the former Hampden Brewery of Chicopee in 1975. She owned the Brightwood Package Store in Springfield. Anna attended the former North East University, (now Western New England College). She was president of the Springfield Chapter W.A.A.B.I. and treasurer of the national group. She moved from Willimansett to Agawam in 1984. She leaves her goddaughter Paula Belliveau of Florida; her cousins, Lillian Bernard of Agawam, Bernice Shea of Holyoke, Mary Davitt of Virginia, Roy Belliveau of Granby, MA, Edmund Champagne of Chicopee, and Arthur Benard of South Hadley. She also leaves her dear friends, June Robbins and her husband, Bruce of Springfield, Gloria Tomassetti of Wilbraham, Stasia Sarna of Chicopee, and her longtime companion, Gus Tomassetti of Florida. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial Friday, January 6, 2006 at the St. John the Evangelist Church in Agawam at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. There are no calling hours. The Brunelle Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
