Irma M. Guite, 90, a resident of the Chippewa Manor Retirement Center in Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, August 27, 2005, at Our House Assisted Living in Chippewa Falls, with St. Joseph’s Hospice.She was born December 8, 1914, in Cadott, the daughter of Albert and Alice (Monpas) Lancette.She married Edward J. Guite on September 29, 1930, in Huron. They resided in Jim Falls until she moved to Chippewa Falls in 1986.She was a member of the P.C.C.W. of Notre Dame and Notre Dame Church.She is survived by two sons, Albert (Judy) Guite of Eau Claire and Leon (Carolyn) Guite of Chippewa Falls; three sisters, Eldora Knudsen, Elizabeth Beaudette and Katheryn Rykal all of Chippewa Falls; one brother-in-law, Forrest Wagner of Traverse City, Mich.; one sister-in-law, Lucille Lancette of Chippewa Falls; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J.; her parents; two brothers, Willard and Albert Lancette; one sister, Margaret Wagner; and one granddaughter, Julie Guite.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Brian J. Jazdzewski will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 29, and until 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. The Notre Dame P.C.C.W. will recite the rosary at 4 p.m. and there will be a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m., both on Monday at the funeral home.
