Nancy Jane Landry-Huser Feb. 23, 1924 - Oct. 24, 2005 -- Nancy Jane Landry-Huser was born February 23, 1924 in Duluth, Minnesota. Nancy had a full life which included her family, career and retirement. She graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1946 with a BSN. She had her children and pursued her education. She became a H.S. science teacher and taught at Presentation High School in San Jose, CA for 28 years. As a registered nurse, H.S. teacher and as a person, she touched many lives. Nancy married Edmund Huser in 1991 and they moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1992. Nancy was a loving, kind and generous woman whom we will all miss very, very much! Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Edmund Huser, Tucson, AZ; her children, Bruce Landry, Louisville, CO; Mary Longaker, San Jose, CA; Frederic Landry, Alice Springs, Australia; Donald Landry, Pleasanton, CA; Geoffrey Landry, Carson City, NV and Anne Landry, South Lake Tahoe, CA; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to the Nancy Landry-Huser Scholarship Fund at Presentation H.S. 2281 Plummer Ave., San Jose, CA 95125. A celebration of her life memorial mass was held in Tucson, Arizona. Published in the San Jose Mercury News on 11/13/2005.
