Adrienne Verville, 85, of Windham, Maine, and formerly of Berlin, died on Monday, July 18, 2005 at Ledgewood Manor in Windham, where she had resided for the last several years. She was born in Berlin on August 2, 1919, the daughter of Arthur and Corinne (Gingras) Laroche. She attended local schools and on October 14, 1940, was married to Ernest Verville at Angel Guardian Church. They lived for several years in Hartford, Conn. and Keeseville, N.Y., before moving back to Berlin. Adrienne worked for many years as a nurse¹s aide at the St. Louis Hospital in Berlin. She was well-liked and respected by her co-workers and patients. Adrienne loved her family and played an active role in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Adrienne is survived by a daughter, Janet Wilson and her husband Richard of Gray, Maine; a son, Robert Verville and his wife Rolande of Errol; four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Mabel Villeneuve and Doris O¹Neal of Berlin; and Loretta Gabriel of Hartford, Conn.; and a brother, Dominique Laroche of Cascade, N.H. Her husband, Ernest, predeceased her in 1976. She was also predeceased by four sisters: Yvonne Peters, Dolores Lemay, Beatrice Villeneuve and Simone Morin Guay, all of Berlin. At the family's request there will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Fleury-Patry Funeral Home in Berlin. Adrienne always enjoyed the music activities at Ledgewood. Therefore in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Adrienne's memory to the Ledgewood Manor Activity Director, PO Box 760, Windham, Maine 04062.
