Linda L. Lewis -- September 7, 1947-December 19, 2005 -- JEWETT CITY- Linda L. Lewis 58, of 29 Bonnie St. formerly of Occum, died late Monday evening at CT. Hospice in Branford. She was born in Norwich on September 7, 1947 the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Exley) LaRue.Linda was employed for a number of years as an Aide for Seaside at the former Uncas on the Thames Hospital in Norwich. She was last employed at Donner Photography in Norwich. While living in Occum she was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was a member of the American Polish Club in Griswold and the Jacques Cartier Club in Jewett City. Linda was a graduate from the Norwich Free Academy. On December 12, 1970 she married Roger D. Lewis in St. Joseph Church in Occum who died on October 17, 1995. Survivors include one brother, Paul LaRue and his wife Linda of Jewett City. Two sisters, Patricia Uzialko of Jewett City and Joan Bohara LaRue of Central Village. Her loving companion Karl Stanley with whom she made her home and several nieces, nephews ,aunts, uncles and cousins She was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and George LaRue. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00A.M. in St. Joseph Church Occum. There will be no procession from the funeral home. Burial will be at the convience of the family. Calling hours at the Guillot Funeral Home 75 So. B. St. Taftville will be Wednesday from 68 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405. CORRECTION: Linda L. Lewis of Jewett City, died on December 19, 2005 is also survived by a sister Joan Bohara and her husband Richard of Norwich, and one sisterinlaw Grace LaRue of Central Village.
