Geraldine LASHA

Geraldine Lavergne, 72, of Dayton, TX died at 11:10 AM on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in her residence. Mrs. Lavergne was born in Oakdale, LA and lived in the Lake Charles and Oakdale areas for many years before moving to Dayton, TX in 1984. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, fishing and boat riding. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Lavergne is survived by her husband, Roland Lavergne; one son, Lynn Brinson, both of Dayton, TX; sister, Anne Perry of Topsy, LA; five brothers, Robert Lasha and Larry Lasha, both of Lake Charles, LA, Shelby Lasha of Topsy, LA, Jackie Lasha of Lake Charles, and Jimmie Lasha of Bell, LA; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, James "Tim" Brinson, Sr. and David E. Brinson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles, LA. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will follow in Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the services.
