JONES - Geraldine B. (Laval), "Aunt Jerry," of Orange, N.J. Departed this life on Monday, Dec. 26, 2005. Loving wife of David Jones Jr., beloved mother of Wendell Jesse Sharp, Davonne Burks, Florence Jones Smith, the late Richard Sharp, Michael JW Jones, sister of Deacon Albert Laval, Bishop Ernest Laval, the late Robert, Leon, Mark, Moses Jr. and Florence Laval, grandmother of five and great-grandmother of 10, great-great-grandmother of four, mother-in-law of Homer Burks Jr. and Savannah Sharpe, sister-in-law of Olivia, Katherine and Delores Laval, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, 8 p.m. at Mount Ararat Baptist Church, 27 Elm St., Rutherford, N.J. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, N.J. Friends may visit 7-8 p.m. at the church.
