BALLSTON SPA -- Henri Joseph Lavallee of Brookline Road died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Saratoga Hospital. He was 71. Born July 27, 1933, in St. Jerome, Quebec, Canada, he moved to the area in 1972 and was a son of Lucia Lavallee and the late Charles Lavallee. Henri had a strong work ethic and enjoyed his career as a horse trainer at the Saratoga harness track. He was a country music fan and will always be remembered as a person who never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh.He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Meola) Lavallee of Ballston Spa; his daughters, Melinda Lavallee-Turner and her husband, Charles, of South Carolina, and Natalie Lavallee of Ballston Spa; his granddaughter, Kaleigh Turner of South Carolina; his brothers and sisters, Lucienne, Jean-Paul, Jeanine, Leopold, Estelle, Jean-Claude, Maurice and Alice; several half-brothers and -sisters; and 28 nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2005, at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373 or burkefuneralhome.com). Burial will follow in Greenridge Cemetery on Lincoln Avenue, Saratoga Springs.Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the services.Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, P.O.
