Eva (LaVigne) LaVigne -- November 25, 1907 - December 20, 2005 -- UNCASVILLE - Eva (LaVigne) LaVigne, 98, of Uncasville, formerly of Taftville, widow of Clifford J. LaVigne, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, in Orchard Grove Specialty Care in Uncasville. She was born November 25, 1907 in Warwick, RI the daughter of Frederick and Odna (Davignon) LaVigne.Her survivors include two sisters, Cora Kirkup of Norwich and Anna Bessette of Plainfield. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, including a special niece, Joan (Talbot) Damon of North Stonington. She was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers: Delvina Talbot, Alice Vars, Leo LaVigne and Frederick LaVigne. Her Funeral will be Thursday, December 22, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Godere Funeral Home, 21 North Second Ave. Taftville. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Taftville. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
