Antoinette V. LEBEL

FALL RIVER -- Antoinette V. (Lebel) Whitehead, 95, of Leger Lane, Tiverton, R.I., died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. She was the widow of Alfred Whitehead. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Georgianna (Gagnon) Lebel. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. She worked at Cape Cod Dress, Mayfair Dress, Raytheon and Arco Dress, all in Fall River. She retired in March 1974. Mrs. Whitehead was a member of UNITE, formerly the ILGWU. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Whitehead of Tiverton; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Alfred Whitehead Jr., and the sister of the late Paul Lebel, Josephine Lebel and Blanche Charron. Her funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Boule Funeral Home, 615 Broadway, with a Mass at 10 at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Road. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
