McKELVIE, Adrienne LeBerthon - Oct. 19, 1921 - Dec. 28, 2005 Predeceased by parents, Josephine L. and Jean L. LeBerthon. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Chick Devlin" McKelvle; loving mother of Josette Fuhrlman, Jeanel (John) O'Connor, Margaret D.L. McKelvie and the late Charles D. McKelvie. Devoted grandmother of eight; and numerous great-grandchildren . Fourth-generation San Franciscan. Graduate Notre Dame des Victoires Grammar School; graduate and alumnae of the Academy of the Sacred Heart, graduate of Lone Mountain and received a master's degree from SF State. One of the first women admitted Into Stanford's doctoral program. Avid tennis player and aspiring writer. President of the Lafayette Club, past president of the St. Brendan's Mothers Club, member of the Daughters of the California Pioneers, the California Historical Society, and member of the Pinehurst Auxiliary, past member of the Metropolitan Club and the Olympic Club. Friends are invited to visit Monday, Jan 2, after 4:00 PM, and to attend the Vigil Service at 7:30 PM at the Evergreen Mortuary of McAvoy O'Hara, Geary Blvd. at 10th Ave., and the Funeral Mass, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 10:00 AM, at Notre Dames des Victoires, with the Committal Service following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
