Eva L. LEBLANC

MADISON -- Eva L. Daigle, 91, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.She was born March 28, 1914, in Madison, the daughter of Maxime Sr. and Emma (O'Brien) LeBlanc.On Nov. 28, 1935, Eva married Archie Daigle.She had been a lifelong resident of Madison, where she was a communicant of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella and a member of the Madison Senior Citizens.Eva loved animals and was an avid crafter who often knit and crocheted for local organizations. Her husband, Archie Daigle; her daughter, Jacqueline Cowan; her son-in-law, Norman Cowan; and siblings, Dedus LeBlanc, Anna Bolduc, Alec LeBlanc, Francis LeBlanc, Arthur LeBlanc, George LeBlanc, Leo LeBlanc and Maxime LeBlanc Jr. died previously.She is survived by two grandsons, Steven A. Cowan of Lewiston and David N. Cowan of Lisbon Falls; a brother, Norman LeBlanc of Madison; a sister, Rena Berry of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Madison. Interment will be later in the spring at St. Sebastian Cemetery in Madison.
