LEOMINSTER -- Lillian M. (LeBlanc) Corda, 78, of 400 Atlantic Ave., formerly of Fitchburg, died Friday, Dec. 23, in Birchwood Care Center, after an illness. She was born on May 19, 1927, in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Clovis and Beatrice (Maillet) LeBlanc. Mrs. Corda was a self-employed interior decorator in the Fitchburg and Leominster area for many years. She was a member of the St. Joseph School PTA. She was also a member of St. Joseph parish until she moved to Leominster where she then joined Our Lady of the Lake parish.Mrs. Corda leaves two sons, Michael Corda and his wife, Darlene, of Fitchburg, and David Corda of New Hampshire; two daughters, Brenda Songer and her husband, Richard, of Milford, N.H., and Wanda Scricco and her husband, Paul, of Oxford; two sisters, Jeannette “Jay” Narbonne of Lunenburg and Anne Moyers of Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Nabia Songer of Brookline, N.H., Colin Songer of Milford, N.H., Julie Scricco of Worcester, Justin Scricco of Oxford, Anthony and Molly Corda of New Hampshire, and Leslie Corda of Fitchburg; and her companion, Norman Sicard of Leominster. She was predeceased by her husband, Fitchburg firefighter Archie Corda, in December 2000. She was also predeceased by several sisters and brothers.CORDA -- On Dec. 23, Lillian M. (LeBlanc) Corda, 78, of Leominster. The funeral will be held today from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. Burial will be private.
