NEW BEDFORD -- Paul LeBlanc, 69, of Swansea died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Arthur and Rose (Leger) LeBlanc. He lived in New Bedford until moving to Swansea 18 years ago. In earlier years he worked in the family business, LeBlanc's Patent Medicine Pharmacy on Acushnet Avenue. A client of the Department of Mental Retardation, he attended the Somerset Adult Day Care program for many years. The joy of his life was attending the Groton Wood Camp every summer. Survivors include a sister, Florida Arsenault of New Bedford, and his caregivers, Thomas and Carolyn Renehan of Swansea. He was the brother of the late Albert LeBlanc. His funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow from Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Dominic's Church, 1277 GAR Highway, Swansea. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery No. 2.
