Raymond L. LEBLANC

LEOMINSTER -- Raymond L. LeBlanc, 79, of 93 Mooreland Ave., died Saturday, Dec. 17, in Keystone Center, after an illness. He was born in Leominster on Oct. 18, 1926, the son of Willie and Malinda (Dupuis) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was a lifelong resident of Leominster, he was a graduate of Leominster High School, a member of St. Cecilia’s Church, and charter member of the Franco-American War Veterans of Leominster.He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, serving on the USS Montague. He received the World War II victory medal, Asiatic Pacific medal.Mr. LeBlanc retired from Sterilite Co. of Townsend in 1988 as tool and die maker.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Therese O. (Downey) LeBlanc; a son, Carl LeBlanc of Leominster; four daughters, Jeanne Colton, Arlene DoRego, and Linda Bauman, all of Leominster, and Corinne Souza of Haverhill; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Timothy Goudreau.LEBLANC -- On Dec. 17, Raymond L. LeBlanc, 79, of Leominster. The funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Church, 168 Mechanic St., Leominster.
