CHARLES F. (PEE WEE) LECLAIR FERRISBURGH — Charles F. (Pee Wee) LeClair, 73, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born on Feb. 6, 1932, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Ernest and Mary (Bailey) LeClair. Pee Wee moved to Vermont as a teenager, working on many farms around Charlotte. He was also employed at 197 in Essex. Pee Wee was employed at Middlebury Union High School for 23 years as groundskeeper until his retirement. He took great pride in his fields. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Charles is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sylvia (Kimball) LeClair of Ferrisburgh; four daughters, Yolanda and Gerry Degree of Jonesville, Cheryl Martin of Massachusetts, Noreen and Teddy Brace of Hun-tington, Charlene and Rodney Scribner of Monkton; two sons, Keon and Tina LeClair of Milton, Timothy and Michelle LeClair of Massachusetts; five stepdaughters, Sherry and Steven Ouellette of Bridport, Cindy Barrows of North Hero, a very special stepdaughter, Tammy, who was always there for him, Edward Havens of Brandon, Wendy and James Begnoche of Orwell, Stacey and David Malinowski of Leicester; 38 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters ,Mary Mykoliski of New Hampshire, Ernestine and Quinton Collins of Tennessee; brother William and Judy LeClair also of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. He had a very special black cat, Turkey. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m. in the BrownMcClay Funeral Home in Vergennes. Interment will be in Gage Cemetery in Ferrisburgh.
