PORT RICHEY, Fla. - Phyllis M. (LeClair) Kampfert, 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, in an automobile accident in Port Richey, Fla. She was born and raised in Cheboygan, the daughter of Bernard and Ruby LeClair. She lived in Saginaw for 35 years of her young adult life, and moved to Port Richey from Grand Rapids 29 years ago.She was a beloved wife and mother, and will be missed very much by her family and friends. She had a giving heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Robert; son Kim of Grand Rapids; three daughters, Judy Mueller of Cape Coral, Fla., Susan Benjamin of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Patricia Dobson of Beverly Hills, Mich.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Arman LeClair of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; two sisters, Doris Lindsay of Cheboygan and Joyce Griffin of Reidsville, N.C.She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles "Bear" LeClair of Zillah, Wash.; and Eileen Justice of Aurora, Colo.A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2005, at St. Anthony's Church in Mackinaw City.
