Vincent LECLAIR

TROY, NY -- Vincent LeClair, 72, of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Clarence and Alice (Goyette) LeClair, Vince was born in Troy, and graduated from Hillside School and LaSalle Institute, Troy. A lifelong resident of Troy, Vince was employed with the State of New York OGS as a painter. Prior to that, Mr. LeClair worked at Samaritan Hospital for 10 years, GE in Schenectady, Action Chevrolet and Freihofer's Baking Company. Slow to embrace the fun of camping, Vince soon became an avid camper at the American Camp Ground in So. Glens Falls. He was a member of the Watervliet Elks and a lifetime member of the Mountainview Volunteer Fire Department. Vince served his country by serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his loving wife, Joan Valentine Pullen; his stepchildren, Christine Barbera, Marilyn (Keith) Walsh, Jo Ann Normand, Harry, Mark, Matt and Jeff Pullen; his grandchildren, Jennifer O'Neal, Harry M. Pullen, Paulie, Amy and Beth Normand, Tarah, Heidi, Justin, Luke and Nicholas Pullen, Ray Vadnais, Sam Pistana, Allan John Bresette, Sandy and Salvadore Barbera; his great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Kyle O'Neal, Alyssa Pullen, Emily Vadnais, Autumn Wilson, Quatrina, Joshua and Breanna Bresette, Nicholas Vadnais, Joe Taito, Garbriel Alwog and Liam Pistana. He is also survived by his sister, Virginia (Carmen) Ciccarelli and his former wife Beverly Eates of Clifton Park. Vince was predeceased by his sister, Rose LeClair Jeske; his brother, Robert Le Clair; and his former wife, Marjorie Cayan LeClair. The funeral for Vincent will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy and at St. Joseph's Church in Troy at 9:30 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery will follow.
