KENOSHA - Janet Ann LeClaire, 62, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Alliance - Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie on Thursday, June 30, 2005, following a brave battle with cancer. A graduate of Pulaski High School, she went on to be employed as a talented Phlebotomist at All Saints-St. Mary's Medical Center for over 24 years retiring in 2005. In Jan's spare time, she enjoyed crafts and had a great passion for bird watching. Above all, she loved being in the surroundings of her family and friends. Jan was the beloved sister of Jim (Helen) LeClaire of Kenosha and Robert (Renee) LeClaire of Marietta, GA; aunt of Jeff and Lisa and their children, Dustin, Stephanie and Max of Oconomowoc; Jason of Muskego; Marie Behrend and her children, Julie and Dana of New Berlin; Michael, Andrea, and Adam and Jessica, and their daughter, Isabelle, of GA; niece of Virginia (the late Thomas) Burns, cousin of Cathy and Jeff, and their children, T.J. and Alisa, all of Fond du Lac; Patty and Jeff and their children, Virginia and Thomas of West Bend and Janet (the late Robert) Hein, and their children, Greg and Lisa Hein, Stuart and Julie Swanson, Robert and Jodie O'Neill, all of S. Milwaukee; favorite "great-aunt Jan" to Michael, Andrew, Kate, Stuart, Natalie, Ted, Matthew and Anne. Further survived by many other dear relatives and friends. The love and support of Jan's All Saints family meant so much to her over the years. A celebration of Jan's life will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow next to her beloved husband, James E. Lucy (who tragically died in 1967 of leukemia at age 23), at St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 until 8 pm and Wednesday from 9 until 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hospice Alliance - Hospice House are encouraged. A special note of thanks to the entire staff at Hospice Alliance; and to my three special angels, Char, Don, and Cindy, for your care, love and guidance. You are the "Wind Beneath My Wings"!
