MAYS LANDING -- Rev. Milton F. LeCompte, 77, died Sunday at Pitman Manor, Pitman.Rev. LeCompte served the United Methodist Church with the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference at numerous churches throughout New Jersey.He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine in 1998. Surviving are his children, Millard, John, Cathy, Fred and his wife Cyndi, and Beth; seven grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters.Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Endowment Fund, Wesley Theological Seminary, 4500 Massachusetts Ave., Washington, DC 20016.Arrangements are under the direction of the Ashcraft Funeral Homes, Penns Grove and Pennsville.Published in The Times, Trenton, on 8/30/2005.
