Lorraine LEFORT

MERIDEN - Lorraine LeFort Tomassetti, wife of Edward F. Tomassetti, died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005.Born in Meriden on Oct. 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen Panek LeFort, she was a lifelong resident of Meriden.Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Beth H. and John Krzyston and Lorraine Lee Tomassetti; she also leaves three grandchildren, Leigh Mary, John Edward and Jakob Anthony Krzyston. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Katherine Helen Krzyston.A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden. Honorary pallbearers are, Barbara Barillaro, Norma Jean Blair, Lucielle DiVerniero, Doris Lode, Fran Petrucelli, Marilyn Rosadino, Shelia Salafia, Margherita Scannell, Diane Smoko, Lillian Soboleski, Henrietta Suzio, and Marge Suzio. Her Family requests memorial contributions in her memory be made to the Oncology Nursing Fund, Yale New Haven Hospital, Office of Development, P.O. Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.
