HARFORD - Thomas Lee Leger, Sr., age 57, of Country Meadows Trailer Park, Harford, NY, died Friday, December 16th, 2005, at home. Born January 20, 1948, Tom, who was also known as "Tex", was raised in Sour Lake, TX. He served in Vietnam in the US Army after which he relocated to Cortland County in 1975. Tex was employed for many years at Borg Warner in Ithaca and recently as employed as a truck driver for Swift Trucking in Syracuse, NY.Survivors include his mother, Tommie Lee Leger Hendrix of Sour Lake, Texas; his son, Thomas M. Leger of Germany; his daughters, Tanya Lea Leger Stone and Amanda Lea Leger, both of Dryden; a brother, Charles L. Hendrix of Texas; grandchildren, Lila and Cassandra Stone; his friend and companion, Bonnie A. Bryan and her son, Shawn (Leger) Rose of Dryden. He was predeceased by his father, Charles A. Hendrix; a brother, John Leger; and a son, Thomas "Chef" Leger.Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, December 20th at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon "Pete" Hood officiating.
