Wilfred LEPITRE

Wilfred Lepitre, 80, of Dixville, Québec, and formerly of Averill, died on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 5 p.m. For 35 years, Wilfred worked at the Canadian customs houses in Chartierville, East Hereford, and Stanhope until his retirement in 1981. He had spent summers at his camp on Big Averill Lake since 1973 and lived there year-round from 1984-1995. He leaves behind his sons, Robin Lepitre and his wife Lou of Canaan; Stephen Lepitre and his wife Bonnie; Mark Lepitre and his friend Yvan; Christopher Lepitre and his wife Lise; and Richard Lepitre and his wife Rachel. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday at Charron et Fils funeral home on Rue Child in Coaticook. The funeral is at 2 p.m. on Saturday at St. Stephen's in Coaticook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sante de la Santé de la MRC de Coaticook, 138 Rue Jean-Mance, Coaticook, Québec J1A1W3.
