RACINE - Mrs. Lucille A. Gagnon, 82, died in St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday, June 9, 2005. She was born in Oconto on July 13, 1922, the daughter of the late Isadore and Eulalia (nee: Poirior) Lessor. On October 1, 1940, she was united in marriage to Myrl E. Gagnon, who preceded her in death on March 17, 2000. She had been employed by High Ridge Hospital for over 13 years, retiring in 1971. She was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and a retiree of Local 310, American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, where she served as a Steward. She enjoyed gardening and especially spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter, Diane (William) Kmack of Bradenton, Fla.; grandsons, Daniel (Kathryne) McAuliffe and Anthony (Susan) McAuliffe; great-grandchildren, Scott, Rebecca, John, and Amanda; her sisters, Virginia (Jack) Giles of Lakeland, Fla., Eleanor Fix of Minneapolis, Minn., and Frances (Jerry) Trinkle of Brownsville, Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughters, Beverly Gagnon and Joyce McAuliffe; grandson, Christopher Kmack; brothers, Theron Lessor, Adolph Lessor, Archie Lessor, and John Lessor; sisters, Margaret Smith, Marie Biller, Pearl Dressel, Genevieve Sibby, Josephine Lessor, Lillian Robinson, and Dorothy Graf. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3109 Drexel Avenue, on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. and in the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. The family has suggested memorials to St. Lucy Catholic Church.
