George Henry Tulk December 08, 1916 - November 27, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) George will be remembered for his adventures and stories. He brought life and laughter to all those who knew him. George Henry Tulk, born December 8, 1916, passed away with grace on November 27, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce and their four daughters, Debbie (Nolan) Steed, Catherine (David) Bartlett, Susan (Stuart) Fowler, Jennifer (Stephen) Rees. He is also survived by his sister Pearl Genereaux of Belleville, Ontario. Born in Montreal, Quebec, George spent his youth in Belleville, Ontario and served in the Royal Canadian AirForce from 1940-1945. He moved to Calgary in 1953 and raised his family there. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and bridge player, and knew how to enjoy life. He is remembered by his 16 grandchildren as a loving and entertaining grandfather. A memorial service will be held at Leyden’s Funeral Home (17th Ave. & 2nd Street SW) on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, his family knows George would rather you go out and play with your children and grandchildren.
