Services for Mrs. Peter Citrano Sr., the former Delta Mae Louviere, 77, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peters Catholic Church with the Rev. Jude Halpen officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.Visiting hours were observed Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will resume today at 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Thursday at 8 a.m. until the time of service.A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Citrano died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at Consolata Nursing Home.Mrs. Citrano was head cook at Simoneaud’s South Grocery and Market until she retired and was a door greeter at Wal-Mart. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Her family was her number one priority. She adored caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed visiting and meeting people.She is survived by her three sons, Wayne Citrano and wife Darlene of Parris, Calif., Peter Citrano Jr. and wife Holly, and Michael Citrano and companion Duwana; two daughters, Elaine Malagorie and husband Frank, and Cindy McGinn and husband Sonny; a brother, Leroy Louviere Sr. and wife Lottie all of New Iberia; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Mrs. Citrano was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Citrano Sr.; parents, John and Elizabeth Guillotte Louviere; a sister, Bertha Romero; and a great-granddaughter, Hailey Melancon.Pallbearers will be Wayne Citrano, Peter Citrano Jr., Michael Citrano, Christopher Citrano, Shane Melancon and Frank Malagarie.David Funeral Home - North, Trotter Street, is in charge of the arrangements
