Anna Emma LUSSIER

Anna E. LeClerc, 90, of Oakwood, North Dakota died Monday, June 13, 2005 at her home in near Oakwood. Anna Emma Lussier was born November 24, 1914 at Maripolis, Manitoba, Canada the daughter of Stanislaus and Tarsile (Morin) Lussier. She received her education at Campeau School in St. Alphonse, Manitoba. On November 9, 1938 she was united in marriage to Edward LeClerc at St. Alphonse. The couple lived and farmed in the Oakwood area. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Altar Society, Acton Homemakers and a charter member of the Ladies Eagles Auxiliary. Anna enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, baking and working word search puzzles. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna is survived by her brother: Antoine Lussier, of Winnipeg, Manitoba; children: Richard (Mary Raye) LeClerc of Mankato, Minnesota, Lucille (Dick) Bonlie of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, Shirley DeMers of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, Dianne LeClerc of Eugene, Oregon, Doris Brown of Moorhead, Minnesota, Dennis (Kim) LeClerc of Grafton, North Dakota, Marian Hapip of Mandan, North Dakota and Brian LeClerc of Grafton, North Dakota; twenty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents; two brothers, two sisters and two infant brothers. She will be greatly missed and was dearly loved by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Friday, June 17, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oakwood with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation: Friends may call at the Barnes Family Funeral Service on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm.
