Elaine MACY

LANCASTER - Elaine Guay, 73, of Grange Road, died at her home on Sunday morning, March 6, 2005.She was born in Bellmore, Long Island, N. Y. on July 13, 1931, the daughter of Edward and Edith (Bequet) Macy.Elaine was raised in Long Island. When she was 25, she married Lionel E. Guay and resided the rest of her life in Lancaster and Gorham. For 20 years she was employed at Weeks Memorial Hospital in the dietary department.She was devoted to her family and was a genuine lover of animals. She enjoyed all creatures great and small, particularly cats, of which she always had several.Family members include her husband, Lionel of Lancaster; five children, Jerry Guay and his wife Monika of Groveton, Danny Guay and his wife Lisa of Groveton, Judy Matthews and her husband George of Lancaster, Linda Boucher and her fiancée John Riley of Derry and Jennifer Lapointe and her husband Daniel of Gorham; a brother, Edward Macy of Florida; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.There are no visiting hours.
