Claire M. Goodwin, 84, of Wakefield, Mass., died Dec. 23, 2005, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Born in Wakefield, Mass., on June 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Annie (Deveau) Malonson. Mrs. Goodwin was a lifelong resident of Wakefield and a member of St. Joseph Parish. She worked at the former Copley Shoe before her retirement. Mrs. Goodwin was the wife of the late Trueman C. Goodwin, who died in 2002. She is survived by five sons, Allan, Kevin and Brian Goodwin, all of Derry, and Gordon and Thomas Goodwin, both of Wakefield; her brother, Robert Malonson of Wakefield; three sisters, Doris Kelley, Mary Smith and Ruth Wilkinson, all of Wakefield; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Goodwin was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Landry and Everett Malonson; and two sisters, Ethel Rosati and Girly Malonson. ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, Mass., on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
