John T. MANSEAU

NORTH CLARENDON — John T. Manseau Sr., 88, died Dec. 24, 2005, at Rutland Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.He was born July 23, 1917, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Napoleon and Hortense (Doucette) Manseau.He was a graduate of Woodbury College in Hollywood, Calif.Mr. Manseau worked for Aubuchon Hardware for 35 years.He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during World War II.He enjoyed gardening.Survivors include his wife, Christella (Guyan) Manseau; a son, John Manseau Jr. of North Kingstown, R.I.; a brother, Robert Manseau of Worcester, Mass.; a sister, Cecile Guyan of Spencer, Mass.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The graveside service will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.There will be no calling hours.Arrangements are under the direction of the Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
