ORMOND BEACH - Jerome Joseph Many, 89, of North Clyde Morris Boulevard, who retired in 1985 from Sears, Daytona Beach, died Sunday at Ormond in the Pines. Mr. Many, an Army veteran of World War II, who served in the second armored division, was born in Peekskill, N.Y., and moved to this area in 1953 from Ossining, N.Y. He also retired in 1990 after 31 years with the Daytona Beach Police Department. He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Daytona Beach, and the Honey Pots Men's Golf Group. Mr. Many enjoyed golfing, fishing, and singing. Survivors include a son, Jerome, New Jersey; two daughters, Melinda McLarnan, Ormond Beach, and Leila Pepin, New Smyrna Beach; a brother, Edward, Ossining; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
