Margaret Jean MARQUIS

Marquis, Margaret Jean -- December 15, 2005 Margaret Jean Marquis, 78, of Fayetteville, NY, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at home. She was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, where her grandparents were among the original settlers. She raised her family in the state of Washington and in Baldwinsville, NY. She was active in her church, started her own dried-and-silk floral design business, Jean's Creations, returned to school in 1989 for business, and worked for Onondaga County in social services. She loved family, dancing, adventure, dogs and yard sales. She is survived by her three loving children: daughter Cynthia Page and husband, Randy, of Manlius; daughter Diana Oleartchik and husband, Alon, of Tel Aviv, Israel; and son John "Jack" Norderhus of Fayetteville; five loving grandchildren: Mindy, Tessa, Jim, Max and Tom; brother Jack Marquis and wife, Bonnie, of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews. A host of dear friends, young and old, will miss her presence also. Her sister, Dorothy Fox, predeceased her in 1995. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening, December 20, at Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia from 6 to 8. Services will be held at United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 3 p.m., with a reception following to celebrate her life. Tait Funeral Home, Inc.
