Margaret M. MCALLISTER

Margaret M. (McAllister) Blanchette., 76, of Buxton Ave., in Somerset passed away Monday, December 12, 2005 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island she was the wife of fifty-seven years to Edmond G. Blanchette. Born in Fall River, MA on June 24, 1929 the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary J. (Regan) McAllister, she worked in the accounting office at the former Edgar's department stores in Fall River and Somerset for many years. Mrs. Blanchette was a former communicant at Saint Louis de France Church in Swansea, and enjoyed spending time with her family.Survivors beside her husband are two daughters Dianne Boucher of Sewell, NJ Joyce Walmsley of Bangor, Maine two sons Stephen Blanchette of Fall River, MA David Blanchette of West Warwick, RI a brother Thomas McAllister of Fall River, MA seven grandchildren and one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews she was the loving friend and mother in law of Elizabeth Blanchette of Fall River, MAHer funeral will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 9am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow Nathan Slade Cemetery Somerset.
