YARDLEY, PA -- Winifred Anne Desfosse', 89, died peacefully at home Sunday.Born in Brooklyn, NY to James and Lillian (Kenny) McLaughlin, Mrs. Desfosse' lived in Yardley, PA for more than 12 years.A graduate of Brooklyn College, Winifred was a school teacher at Saint Teresa of Lisieux School in Brooklyn, NY for over 20 years. Mrs. Desfosse' was a daily communicant at St. Ignatius, an active member of The Perpetual Adoration Society, and a pro-life advocate.Wife of the late Paul Francois Desfosse', Winifred is survived by six children, Paul Desfosse' of Northville, NY, Kathleen Hamlin-Fales of Upper Makefield, PA, Janet Blagbrough of Queensbury, NY, Kevin Desfosse' of Ewing, Richard Desfosse' of Brooklyn, NY, and Nancy McNeela of Yardley, PA; three sisters, Marie McLaughlin of Sparta, Marjorie Keeley and Regina Marsh, both of Portland, ME; and her brother Richard McLaughlin of Fountain Hills, AZ.She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph McLaughlin, his sister, Kathryn Hornby, and one grandchild, Frederick Blagbrough.Winifred will be greatly missed by her 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.The Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Ave., Yardley, PA.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Tuesday at St. Ignatius Church, Yardley.Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Birthright of Northeast Philadelphia, 7976 Oxford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111.Published in The Times, Trenton, on 8/8/2005.
