Martha MCNESS

Martha Menard, nee McNess, 92, of Evanston, passed away Nov. 28, 2005, beloved wife for 57 years of the late George M. Menard, a Chicago radio and t.v. personality; loving mother of Noel M. (Jeffrey P.) Rose, Paula M. (Worthy L.) Chambers and the late Martha Anne Menard; cherished grandmother of four and great-grandmother of five. Member of PEO chapter EL, North Shore Associates, United Fund Board and Family Service Board, was a founding member of Wilmette Women's Golf Assoc. and wrote and published a newsletter for Mount St. Joseph Home for 38 years. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Elliott Chapel of the Presbyterian Homes, 3131 Simpson, Evanston. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount St. Joseph Home, 24955 North Highway 12, Lake Zurich, IL 60047-9752. Arrangements by Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 847-251-8200.
