LeFevre, Ann M., -- Saginaw, Michigan. -- Passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Auburn Care Center, after a 4 1/2 year illness. Age 91 years. Ann McPharlan was born March 10, 1914 in Saginaw and was a lifelong resident of Saginaw until her illness. She married James A. LeFevre on May 21, 1934. He passed away January 23, 1987. She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral where she was a active member of several groups and committees. Ann had a passion for playing cards, especially Bridge. She played to win and 'win she did' Mom would brave a storm for a good card game. Surviving are two daughters and one son, Ruthan (Gary) McPhillips, Sandra LeFevre and Paul LeFevre; a daughter-in-law, Mary LeFevre; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren who will affectionately remember her as 'G G'. She also leaves her good friends, sister-in-law, Harriett McPharlan of Bay City and her four sons. Ann was predeceased by her husband, James, son James and eight brothers and sisters. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary Cathedral. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan Ave from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Mary Cathedral from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
