SCOTT - Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial in the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Theresa Menard Landry, 67, who died at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, in Women's & Children's Hospital in Lake Charles.Interment will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.The Rev. Mark Melancon, associate pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will be the celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the services.A native of Gueydan and a lifelong resident of Scott, Mrs. Landry was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Community in Scott.She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all.Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn L. Hargrave and her husband, Larry D., of Cow Island, and Marjorie L. Long and her husband, Kenneth, of Lake Charles; one son, Charles James Landry Jr. and his wife, Diana, of Breaux Bridge; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Viola Leger, of Port Natchez, Texas, and Adelaide Wells, of Dunkirk, Ind.; and one brother, Robert Menard, of Jennings.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles James Landry Sr.; her parents, Philbert and Aurelia Matte Menard; three brothers; and four sisters.A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m. Friday in the Martin & Castille Funeral Home.The family requests that visiting be observed from 9 a.m. Friday until time of services.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Landry's name may be made to the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, P.O. Box 610, Scott, LA 70583.Pallbearers will be Dale Hargrave, Barret Hargrave, Brad Foreman, John Reid, Charles Landry and Larry Hargrave.Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin & Castille Funeral Home Inc. of Lafayette, (337) 234-2311.
