RACINE - Margaret A. (nee: Meyers) Dumont, 89, passed away Monday, July 11, 2005, at her home. Margaret was born in Racine in the home that her parents built, October 6, 1915, daughter of the late Hugo H. and Mary B. (nee: Kosek) Meyers and lived there all her life with exception of living in Minnesota and California for a few years. On April 24, 1948, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Joseph M. Dumont, who preceded her in death April 10, 1989. She was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church at the time of her death. Margaret taught in the Catholic School System of Racine for several years. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Josephine Meyers; a nephew, Thomas Meyers; a niece, Victoria Johnson; grandniece and grandnephews, Susan M. Arneson, Richard S. Johnson, and Michael R. (Christine) Johnson; a great-grandniece, Kristen M. Arneson; other dear relatives in Vienna, Austria, and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph (Vera) Meyers, Ralph (Helen) Meyers, and Richard Meyers; a sister, Evangeline (Ralph) Johnson; and a nephew, Richard H. Johnson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green Street, Thursday, July 14, 2005, 1 p.m. with Rev. Russell Stommel officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Highway 32. There will be no visitation. Memorials to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church have been suggested.
