Philippe J. Montegut, 98, born in Paris, France, resident of Yorktown Heights for 38 years, and Brunswick, ME for the past six years, died on November 29, 2005. A graduate of the School of Law at The Sorbonne, and Lieutenant of the French Army during WWII, Mr. Montegut was a journalist for L'Agence France Presse until his retirement in 1972. Mr. Montegut then worked as a translator for the U.S. Information Agency as well as Professor of French at Pace University. Mr. Montegut's wife of 57 years, Simone, passed away in 2000. Mr. Montegut is survived by his children, Philippe III, Alain and Diane, as well as six grandchildren. Calling hours at Clark's Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights Saturday 9-10:30 am. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church at 11 am. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
