Connie MONTMINY

WINSLOW -- Connie Poulin, 76, of Fortier Street in Winslow, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at the d'Youville Pavillion in Lewiston, after a lingering illness. Connie was born with a tooth, as reported in the newspaper, on Dec. 28, 1928, on Green Street in Waterville. She attended Mt. Merici Academy and Winslow High School.She worked as a bookkeeper at Warren's, Crescent Hotel, Morning Sentinel, Rosenthal Enterprises, Dodge City and Alco Packing. She was an avid reader and loved to ride her bicycle around town. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, and a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 8835. She is survived by daughters, Jane Poulin of Lisbon and Anne Poulin Budris of St. Petersburg, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Elaine Montminy; nieces, Karen Montminy and Kelly Hooper; nephew, Kevin Montminy and their families; lifelong friend, Allie McDonough; and friend/caregiver, Rosemarie Lane. She is predeceased by husband, J. Roland Poulin; and parents, Clarisse and Victor Montminy. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, please make donations to the L. Connie's ashes will be interred beside Roland's at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta in May 2006.
