Joseph Normand MORIN

HOLDERNESS — Joseph Normand Morin, 67, of 1 Hill Top Drive died at his home.He was born May 2, 1938, in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Normand and Liana [Morisette] Morin.He spent his early years in Lewiston where he attended local schools.Following his school years he moved to the Boston area where he learned the plumbing trade. He lived in the Boston area for five years and also on the South Shore until 1980 when he relocated to Holderness where he was employed by Plymouth State University as a plumber.He enjoyed woodworking, spending time at his camp in Shelburne, four-wheeling on his ATV, and the time he spent with his granddaughters.He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Morin, of Lewiston, Maine in 2003.Survivors include two daughters, Janet Dixon and husband Duane of Dover and Beth Saulnier and husband Michael of Rumney; two brothers, Roger Morin of Houlton, Maine, and Bertrand Morin of Maine; one sister, Hermance Pettengill of Monmouth, Maine; two granddaughters, Amber Knipping of Barrington and Breanna Saulnier of Rumney.Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at The Mayhew Funeral Home 12 Langdon St., Plymouth. A memorial service and burial will be at a later date.
