AuSable Forks — Anne M. Mousseau, 83, died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at her home in AuSable Forks.She was born Nov. 24, 1921, in AuSable Forks, the daughter of Albert and Leah (Betters) Mousseau.She graduated from Holy Name School in AuSable Forks in 1935. She graduated from AuSable Forks Central Rural School in 1939. She worked at Holy Name School as a secretary for many years. She worked for many years at the AuSable Valley Telephone Office. She was a secretary for Dr. John Spranz for 24 years. She also worked for Dr. Richard Bremer for 14 years as a secretary. Anne retired in 1989 due to illness.She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a member of Holy Name Church in AuSable Forks. She was a member of the senior citizens of AuSable Forks. She loved playing golf, tennis and loved watching Cardinals.Survivors include one sister, Alma Nugent of AuSable Forks; one nephew and his wife, Michael and Nancy Nugent of AuSable Forks; one niece, Joanne Nugent of Watertown, N.Y.; a loyal friend and caregiver, Beverly Dalton of Watertown. She is also survived by many friends in the area.Calling hours will be Sunday, May 29, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home in AuSable Forks. A funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Name Catholic Church in AuSable Forks. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in AuSable Forks.Memorials may be made to the Holy Name Catholic Church in AuSable Forks.Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
