Thomas C. NAQUIN

Thomas C. Naquin, 78, of 3229 East Lake Drive, North Elkhart, Indiana, and Naples, Florida, died at 4:19 A.M. December 20, 2005 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1927 in St. Louis, MO to Thaddeus and Willye (Decker) Naquin. He married Mary E. Weiler October 7, 1950 in Pueblo, CO, and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Jeannelle (Brian) Brady, and Liz (Tom) Borger, one son Thad (Rachelle) Naquin, all of Elkhart, and nine grandchildren. Mr. Naquin was the retired chairman of the board of Tom Naquin Chevrolet, Cadillac, Nissan, Oldsmobile, Suzuki, Inc. in Elkhart, Indiana. 1950 graduate of the University of Colorado where he was a member of Chi Psi Fraternity, member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, served on the board of directors of Elcona Country Club, Rotary Club, and Better Business Bureau, received the National Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, and the Distinguished Citizens Award from the LaSalle Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Funeral services will be held Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Elkhart, burial in the Naquin Mausoleum in Rice Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas School Fund, Women's Care Center, or the Boy Scouts of America LaSalle Council in care of Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 West Franklin Street Elkhart, Indiana 46516.
