Catherine V. NELSON

Catherine V. Du Bois, 85, of 146 W. Arndt St., died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at her residence. She was born on Aug. 23, 1920, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Alex and Marie Conery Nelson. On July 23, 1941, she married Wilbert Du Bois in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1989. Catherine worked at Infants Socks and also did child care work. She enjoyed her cat, Murphy, shopping and soap operas. Survivors include one sister, Marie Schneiter of Fond du Lac; one brother, Robert Nelson of Oshkosh; and special friends, Dan and Joan Seichter of Fond du Lac. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; two brothers, Johnny and Richard; and one sister, Anita Engelhardt. Services: Graveside inurnment services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at Estabrooks Cemetery. The Rev. John Radetski will officiate. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
