Miwako NISHIMURA

LAMIRANDE, Miwako Nishimura, 71, wife of Gerald Lamirande, died Sunday, December 25, 2005, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Amami, Oshima, Japan, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nishimura. Survivors, beside her husband, include a son, John Lamirande, and his wife, Maria, of Warrensburg, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Hitomi Lamirande. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home with Charles M. Donovan, CSsR, officiating. The family will receive friends 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3335 Oleander Drive. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of arrangements.
