Thomas Kilgour June 23, 1922 - November 30, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Thomas (Tom) Manson Kilgour passed away on November 30, 2004, at the Colonel Belcher Care Centre. Tom was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 23, 1922 to John and Gladys Kilgour. During World War II, Tom served in Europe with the Calgary Highlanders. He was wounded in France, recuperated in England and returned to Europe until the end of the war, and upon returning to Calgary, he worked at the Canadian Pacific Railway until his retirement. Tom enjoyed reading historical literature, attending opera performances and traveling. Until the onset of Alzheimer's, Tom was a member of the Masonic Order, 264 Royal Canadian Legion, and the CPR Retirees' Club. Tom leaves to mourn, his sister-in-law, Dorothy Kilgour and family, White Rock, BC, and a number of friends. Tom was predeceased by his parents, his twin brother Ian, and his baby brother Melvin.
