Cecile (Ouellette) Madore, 97, of East Hartford, the wife of the late Theophile Madore died Tuesday (December 20, 2005) at the Suffield House. Born in Cyr Plantation, ME, January 16, 1908, she grew up in Maine and had lived in East Hartford for many years. Cecile is survived by her daughter, Verna Berube and her husband, Reed of East Hartford; her sons, Louis Madore of Enfield, Joel Madore and his wife, Aurore of Ellington and Harold Madore and his wife, Lorraine of Andover; her daughter-in-law, Wilma Madore of Old Lyme; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her daughter, Florence Lavoie; her son, Leo James Madore; and her daughter-in-law, Joan McNeil Madore. Cecile's family would like to offer a special note of thanks to the staff at the Suffield House for the care and compassion throughout the years, especially during her final days in which their efforts were unparalleled. Funeral service will be held on Saturday December 24, at 8:45 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Christopher Church East Hartford, followed by burial in Hillside Cemetery.
