Raymond J. OUELLETTE

FITCHBURG -- Raymond J. Ouellette, 76, of Oak Hill Road, died Thursday morning, Dec. 15, in Birchwood Care Center, after an illness. He was born on Oct. 21, 1929, in Fitchburg, the daughter of Napoleon and Evalda (Blais) Ouellette and lived in Westminster for a few years before he came to live in Fitchburg, in 1978. Mr. Ouellette had been a steel fabricator for the C&W Fabricators of Gardner for over 40 years, retiring in 1996. He leaves three sons, Norman C. and his wife, Deborah Ouellette of Westminster, Raymond N. and his wife, Tammy Ouellette, of Texas, and Brian J. and his wife, Karen Ouellette, of Gardner; five daughters, Denise R. and her husband, Otto Terho, and Debra A. and her husband, John Terho, both of Fitchburg, Nancy P. and her husband, Dennis Martin, of Gardner, Lisa M. and her husband, Fred Hamilton, of Nashua N.H., and Michelle Castellani of Florida; one sister, Alexina Dame of Templeton; 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. His wife of 51 years, Pauline M.J. (Dufour) Ouellette, died in 1999. He also was pre-deceased by three brothers, Paul, Hilaire, and Frederick Ouellette of Fitchburg; two sisters, Margaret Ross and Eva Babineau, both of Fitchburg; and his close friend and companion for the last two years, Aleta Levesque, who died in January of 2005.OUELLETTE -- On Dec. 15, Raymond J. Ouellette, 76, of Fitchburg. At the request of Mr. Ouellette and his family, funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
