RACINE - Dianne J. (nee: Paolocci) Bedard, 65, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Dianne was born in Racine February 27, 1940, daughter of the late Celestino and Mary (nee: Fallico) Paolocci. On June 3, 1961, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Donald F. Bedard, who preceded her in death January 31, 1992. Dianne was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. In her later years, she earned her Associate Degree in Computer Programming and had been employed as a Nurses Aide at Villa St. Anna following a lifetime spent caring for other people. For many years, she and her husband, Don, were very active with the Racine Kilties as chaperones. Above all, Dianne was very devoted to her family and especially treasured times caring for, cooking, and traveling with her family. She will be deeply missed. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher (Jennifer) Bedard of Milwaukee, Jeffrey (Dianne) Bedard of Brookfield; her two grandchildren, Eric and Zachary; her sister, Eleanor Brooks of Racine; her sister-in-law, Virginia 'Ginny' Paolocci of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Pearl (Russell) Hoeth; and her brother, Joseph Paolocci. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue, Wednesday, June 29, 2005, 7 p.m. with Rev. Joseph G. Stobba O.S.A. officiating. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until time of Mass. Memorials to St. Catherine's High School have been suggested. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dianne's niece, Lisa Hoeth Gurkee, for her loving and compassionate care.
